The Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Science has a position opening for an English Editor and Teacher in Beijing. This is a full time position that will begin in September, 2008.

 The major responsibilities of this position include:

 1) Editing English papers and abstracts for the “Chinese Journal of Semiconductors”

 2) Editing papers written by students and researchers at the Institute for publication in foreign journals

 3) Teaching oral English to the graduate students at the Institute (approximately 6 hours each week)

  The base pay is 6000RMB per month. In addition, the Institute provides a free apartment located within 5 minutes of the office. The apartment is located about 25 minutes by foot from the Wudaokou subway station.
